How to clean, maintain
and protect your stone

Marble
Marble is a natural stone that is quite porous and easily sensitive to stains and scratches.
It is important to wipe up as quickly as possible the surface in case of spilling. To prevent serious staining, it is strongly advise to avoid products such as vinegar, lemon or chemicals that would irremediably attack the surface. Using a soft cloth with mild soap and warm water, gently scrub the stained area and dry immediately. You can also use a chamois leather to restore its brilliance.

Granite
Granite countertops resist staining and scratching, and are easy to maintain. A mild soap with lukewarm water is enough to keep the surface clean thanks to its anti-bacterial properties.

Quartzite
Similarily to granite, quartzite is a natural stone that is easy to maintain but can be porous to some extent. Use a soft cloth with mild soap and lukewarm water to clean daily. Do not use abrasive products or scouring pads as it may affect irremediably the surface. Should you need to repair a scratch, contact RocArtz for help and assistance.

Compact surface
Highly resistant with a zero porosity rate, compact surface countertops are ideal for kitchen surfaces. Simply use a soft cloth with neutral soap and lukewarm water to clean daily. For stubborn or dyed stains, please refer to RocArtz experts.

Quartz
Quartz countertops are an easy-care surface. Using a damp cloth and a mild soap are enough to make the surface shiny. However stay away from abrasive household cleaner such as acetone, solvents, concentrated acids or high alkaline products.
